Group Application Benefits
Schools, academic institutions, etc. are welcome to register students as a group. Any parties with more than 30 or more applicants can enjoy the “group benefits”. Please refer to the attached chart and the following requirements:
- Group registration must be done once
- Group registration can apply for different subjects and different levels
- The examination files submitted for group registration must include candidate information
- Examination results will be notified and released to the registered school / academic institute / centre etc.
- The certificate will be issued in the form of electronic certificate
Evaluation Rating System
The fine arts examination system is divided into elementary, intermediate, and higher levels, with a total of 9 Levels. We have designed a new assessment grading system based on the needs and abilities of candidates.

Exam Assessment Format & Period
The assessment will be conducted in video format, and the notes and details of the video recording are as follows:
Video Equipment
Video Specifications
Movie Resolution: 720p (1280 x 720) or (720 x 1280)
Movie format: MP4, WMV, MOV or MPG
How to submit the link: YouTube, Google Drive, Dropbox
Footage can be recorded in portrait or landscape orientation and shot with fixed motion, and a tripod can be used to secure the recording equipment if necessary.
The screen must show the entire table, showing the entire candidate’s face (no face covering, mask covering). Each video must be ONE shot to the end, with no editing or special effects, and no video equipment must be moved, advanced or zoomed in during the recording.
Venue
Pay attention to whether the recording environment will be too light or too dark, and try to be as quiet as possible. If the candidate is unable to record the video due to some negative psychological effects caused by the environment, the tutor can choose to adjust the lighting of the venue, or even adjust the sound of the environment, so that the candidate can record the video as clearly as possible during the examination evaluation.

Sign Up & Registration
Applicants must be aged 18 or above. If you are under the age of 18, you need a guardian/ teacher/ school/ education center to apply for the exam on your behalf. The relevant supporting documents and information will be kept confidential and will only be used for internal assessment purposes and will not be displayed on the testimonial paper and certificate.

Applicants are advised to make the following preparations before applying:
Prepare a videotaped
assessment file
In view of the fact that applicants may arrange for candidates to record the video after registration, there may be various problems in the video, such as the video is accidentally interrupted during recording, the video file is damaged, the file is accidentally deleted, etc., resulting in the failure to submit the video before the deadline. If the dossier is prepared before registration, applicants can check whether the video meets the specifications again and submit the video after registration, so as to complete the assessment as soon as possible and wait for the notification of results.
Back up the recorded
evaluation file
In case the files are accidentally deleted, applicants should keep a backup of the recorded assessment files, which can be stored on computers and smartphones.
Candidate’s
personal details
Candidates are required to fill in the following personal information (in English) when registering:
- Name
- Date of birth
- Identity Card Number / Passport Number / Other Supporting Document Number
- Residential address (Applicant’s / Candidate’s Parent or Guardian / Candidate)
- E-mail address (Applicant’s / Candidate’s Parent or Guardian / Candidate)
- Supporting documents of “Special Educational Needs” (if any)

After Registration
Applicants can receive payment receipts at the email address provided during registration. Generally, within 30 days after registration and payment, please upload the exam video file to the designated platform. After the exam video is successfully uploaded, the video will be submitted to the British examiner for review. Depending on the number of applicants, the review time will be adjusted, and the result notification will be issued approximately 3 to 5 working days after all videos are submitted. If all candidates who successfully pass the review are issued electronic – certificates, the certificates will be issued within 2 weeks after the result notification is issued.
Late submission of
evaluation videos
If the assessment video is not submitted within the deadline, it will be deemed as a waiver of the assessment and the registration fee will not be refunded.
Modification of
materials
The assessment will be conducted based on the candidate’s information provided at the time of registration, and the name will be displayed on the result notification and certificate. If there is any error in the information on the result notification and certificate, the candidate needs to pay the fee US$25 for amending the information, and the applicant is requested to confirm that the candidate information provided is correct when registering.
Grade Appeals
If the result received by the candidate is not as expected, the appeal can be made within 7 days after receiving the result notification, if it is more than 7 days, the appeal may not be processed, and the appeal fee is the cost of the candidate’s assessment for the Grade.
If the score are increased or reduced or maintained after the appeal has been made, the applicant will not be reimbursed the full amount of the appeal fee. The appeal fee will not be refunded.

Exam Requirements
Video Requirement
The length of the assessment is very flexible and can be set for different Levels of candidates, and the maximum and minimum length of each video is shown in the following table:

The time before the start of the exam assessment
- The standing time before the exam, Candidates need to show the front and back of the drawing paper to prove that it is a clean drawing paper. The invigilator/tutor is required to place an alarm device, such as a timer or alarm clock, to set the time limit for the exam assessment of the subject, from pressing the button to start recording until the candidate leaves the seat.
- Candidates are require to read out their full name according the identity information such as passport or identity card etc in English clearly.
- Candidates are not required to bow before or after the recording.
Exam evaluation on the way
- Time for candidates to leave their seats to go to the washroom or drink water etc
After the exam evaluation is over
- Candidates can leave at any time before the examination assessment time limit.When the timer or alarm goes off at the end of the set time limit, the candidate must immediately stop the drawing action. The invigilator must immediately collect all candidates’ examination work.After completing the exam assessment, candidates must raise their hands and hold up the painting to the camera to show the picture and the back, and then hand it over to the invigilator before leaving the exam venue.
- The invigilator must take a fixed camera of each candidate’s examination work and submit it at our website together with the video clip
Dress Code
There is no specific dress code for candidates in the video assessment, and the dress code should be simple and neat, such as day school students, they can choose to wear school uniforms, and we also recommend that instructors who give limited instruction should dress simply. Candidates and instructors are required to show their faces clearly during the video, and there should be no covering (face shields, masks), The attire of the candidate and the instructor will not affect the assessment score, and the examiner will not give any opinion on the attire.
Objects on the table
Candidates are not allowed to place any objects that interfere with the course of the exam, except for the drawing tool.
Computer software
Candidates are not allowed to use computer software as their creative painting tool.

How to get Certificate and Diploma
Obtain
CERTIFICATION
Candidates are free to choose and complete study and examination assessments in one of the six subjects at any level:
- Elementary (Levels 1 to 3) or
- Intermediate (Levels 1 to 3) or
- Higher (Levels 1 to 3)
Only Integrated Drawing is offered at the foundation level.
A certificate will be issued after each exam is passed, please see the example below:
Obtain
DIPLOMA CERTIFICATION
Candidates must choose and complete the study and examination assessment of one of the six subjects, and successfully obtain the Elementary level 1, level 2, and level 3 certificates (a total of three levels) of the same subject.
Candidates need to complete the study and examination assessment of the same subject and the same Intermediate level 1or 2 or 3 as the Higher level in order to obtain the diploma certificate of the examination level completed in the subject. (Intermediate and higher must be at the same level to obtain a diploma certificate of that level)
Example:
Candidates complete and pass the Watercolor Elementary Level 1, 2 and 3 examination assessments and receive a certificate for each level. Candidates then complete the Watercolor Intermediate Level 2 and higher Level 2 examination assessments. This will award candidates with a Level 2 Certificate in Diploma in Watercolor. ( Intermediate and Higher must be at the same level to obtain a diploma of that level)
A certificate will be issued after each exam is passed, please see the example below:
- Result and Certificate -
The electronic certificate will be issued by email within 14 working days.
However, the physical version of the diploma or certificate needs to be sent to the candidate’s address via SF Express within two weeks, and the postage must be paid by the candidate.
